Spondylolisthesis is a condition when the vertebral bodies are not properly held in place, and one vertebral body slip forward over the vertebral body below due to bilateral defects of the pars interarticularis of the spine. It is most commonly seen in the lumbar spine. Treatment of spondylolisthesis depends on
1) type and magnitude of the slip,
2) progression of slip.
In less severe cases of this condition can be managed conservatively, or with interventional pain management (like Paraspinal ozone injection, facet joint block etc). However, more severe cases need operative stabilization.
